I know I have said it before, but I will say it again, “You need a healthy mindset to succeed in anything you do.”
Unfortunately, we are living in a time where it is very difficult to have that healthy mindset…primarily because of COVID-19.
The media is full of bad news, people have lost their jobs, young children are confused, older ones are living at home, some of us have lost loved ones, others have suffered with sickness, and so on.
I was reading a Washington Post article about the impact today’s situation is having on our sleep. It is disturbing and is even disrupting our circadian rhythm.
The article calls it Coronasomnia
Experts say it is ‘creating a massive new population of chronic insomniacs grappling with decline in productivity, shorter fuses, and increased risks of hypertension, depression, and other health problems.’
Dr. Abhinav Singh, Director of the Indiana Sleep Center, even coined the acronym ‘FED UP’ which means ‘financial stress, emotional stress, distance from others, unpredictability, and personal/professional concerns.’
Would this have a serious impact on your mindset, business, and quality of life? Of course, it would.
So, keeping a healthy mindset first is key to a healthy business and life.
That means addressing your sleep issues to make sure you get enough. If you are having difficulty sleeping, there are many things you can do to address it.
As the article says, reduce your electronic time (including watching the news) before bed, regular exercise, spend time outdoors with nature, make family time a priority, and use non-prescriptive supplements.
Regarding the last one, I highly recommend the use of a non-prescriptive, natural sleep aid like CBN. I have just discovered this new natural remedy and I sleep much better than when I only took CBD. It is truly amazing!
Not only that, you’ll have what I call, M4 benefits – better mood, movement, motivation, and memory! And when it comes to my business, productivity has improved resulting in remarkable, recurring revenues.
