Simplify your life and grow your business at the same time? Yes, you can!
I just got back from an awesome trip to the Canadian Rockies and visiting family in Alberta, all the while still earning income despite being on vacation. I’m a true believer that you can being doing this too!
In fact, one of the best things about starting a home-based business and working in the network marketing industry is that you can reclaim your time and get ultimate freedom that allows you to work less and earn more.
Focus on what brings the highest return
To really simplify, you need to focus your time and efforts on what will bring the highest returns to your business. Identify what is “clutter,” or the things you can cut back on or even outsource, so you can spend your time on the most important things. So, do the IPAs (income producing activities) and your business will absolutely grow.
This first step will help you regain balance and understand what is holding you back from having more time for yourself. It will also help you focus your efforts on the things that will really help push your business forward.
Master the process
Once you know what you should spend your time on, you will become really good at mastering the process. Often times we get stuck in a rut doing things a certain way without realizing that there could be much simpler and more efficient ways of doing them.
As a leader in our industry, you don’t want to re-invent the wheel. Your business will not duplicate and you will see very little success if you attempt this. Instead, follow the systems and processes and you will become more successful. This is what I did right from the get go.
Learn when to say “yes”
Are you one of those people that takes on way more than you can handle? If you find yourself saying “yes” all the time, you need to take a step back. Taking on every new opportunity that comes your way is not a good way to grow your business.
The problem with this approach is that you find yourself spending time on things that don’t bring the biggest pay off, which means you are working harder but your business isn’t growing.
Continue to grow your network
Networking can be a waste of time, but when done the right way, it can bring huge returns. Attend networking (in person & online) events, reconnect with old contacts and foster relationships. This one habit can help you find more prospects, grow your team and enhance your business.
I know it works because when I first started in my business, I had just moved to Ottawa and knew absolutely no one. So once I built my network through events, my business really took off!
Multiply your income
One of the best ways to make your business grow and multiple your income is to invest in your team. Adding new team members, holding trainings, having a clear strategy and communicating often will make your team more successful so your business will thrive.
Build your business with a component of creating residual income. This is when the power of leverage takes place and you start to live the freedom lifestyle.
Residual income will help you create assets on the side, which is exactly what I did. My business profits from my health & wellness business funded my real estate investments, so you see, it’s a win win strategy.
