We are certainly living in a time of uncertainty. That is for sure, more than ever before in our lifespan.
There are so many things that are unknown and unsettling these days which makes us ask a lot of questions.
Is the economy going to collapse?
Am I going to catch Covid?
Are mortgages going up and should I lock in?
Will I ever be able to buy a home?
Are the vaccines safe?
Is our planet in danger?
Should I invest my money in bitcoin?
Will I have a job tomorrow?
And so on.
With all these concerns, some of which may be suspect and some may be real, in the media everyday, it is so easy to get depressed, frustrated, fearful and inactive.
We become scared to do anything and we question anything we do.
But there is one thing you can be certain of under these trying times. And this has never changed.
You have to take care of yourself, first.
That is the bottom line. No one else will.
So what does that mean?
It certainly means having that difficult discussion with yourself and your family.
It certainly means going back to the basics – setting goals, doing your due diligence, planning and then acting or implementing your plans.
And it certainly is not the time to coast, let the circumstances control you and hope everything will turn out alright.
Maybe this is the time to start your own business or a side gig for contingency purposes.
Maybe it’s time to invest your money in something safer, less risky, better returns.
Maybe it’s time to move to a different country.
Maybe it’s time to change careers.
Whatever it is, now is the time to move your feet. Don’t stand still. Don’t let uncertainty control you.
With uncertainty there is opportunity. So welcome it and take action!
Take it from me – I was never one to sit still. I made many decisions, some were made with my gut and some were made after doing my due diligence. Some worked out beautifully and some did not.
But it did not stop me from embracing change and taking the leap of faith in myself.
Remember, any decision is better than no decision. And once you’ve made it don’t look back or second guess yourself.
So in this time of uncertainty, embrace it. Look at the new possibilities and be open to them.
And be certain that yourself and your capabilities will endear you to greater success and fulfillment.
Take a few minutes and book a discovery call with me, if you’re looking to get through these uncertain times. I’m certain I can help in one way or another.
