Attention entrepreneurs! Are you fully committed to growing your business & your life? Or are you just going through the motions?
I chose to share this photo of my daughter because of her commitment to and achievement in athletics. She swam competitively and her hard work earned a university scholarship. I’ll never forget her dedication! Waking up for 5:30 am swim practice, as well attending 3:30 pm practice every day of the week! One of my mentors uses this quote often to define 100% commitment.
“It’s about doing what you said you would do, long after the mood has left you.”
Here’s the thing…if you don’t commit to your business 100%, it will cost you time, energy, and money. You went into business to be successful, earn a great income, achieve your goals and dreams, and live your best life. So why not do everything in your power to make it work?
But even with 100% commitment, obstacles get in the way.
How do you deal with obstacles? Do you sit back on your comfy couch and accept them while watching your business dwindle? Or do you take action, doing whatever it takes to grow your business? Remember…your life, your family, and your team depend upon you and your leadership.
When I first started working from home several years ago, it felt strange to set aside time to actually work on my business. I was easily distracted by all the other things I had to do with my busy family and running our household. It became clear that I needed to create new habits and I have to say, when I finally did…my business started to explode. I simply had to master the skill of self-discipline!
