Okay summer is over. The kids are back in school. Yay!
They are excited and ready to get going with their new school year.
You are hopefully refreshed and energized too, and ready to get back at it.
So now is the time to step it up in your life and business.
What does that mean besides being motivated and energetic, both of which can fizzle out quickly or even before you start? How do you step it up?
Well it can mean a lot of things depending on your circumstances. So let’s start.
It can mean looking at your goals again. Are the goals still realistic or do they need to be revised and/ or amended?
Or is it a new fiscal year for you and you need to make new goals altogether?
It doesn’t matter. What matters is that you review your goals and revise or set new ones.
The next thing is to review your plans to see if they are working for you or if you are even following your plan(s). Are you on track? In other words, are you where you want to be in the year?
If not, then your plan has to change.
If it is working, then review it as it helps to get you going in the right direction after any break.
If you have set new goals, then you have to revise the existing plan or develop a new one that will get you there.
So what immediate actions do you need to take?
What do you have to react to? Do you have to restart something you had going, deal with something that has fallen off, initiate actions as per your plan, and so on?
List them out and prioritize them.
All of this will help you step it up after the summer break.
Review, Refresh, and React – my three R’s for my business.
And I use them after every quarter, not just after a holiday or summer break.
It keeps me ‘stepping up” and on top of my business.
I’d love to talk with you about ‘stepping up’ in anything you do.
