It’s MMM Wednesday again and I want to talk about simplifying life. This year has absolutely been the craziest with COVID-19 affecting the economy and putting fear in everyone’s mind. I’m a big believer in the law or opposites, and I’m very sure that this crisis will bring positive change.
Now is one of the best times ever to adjust our ideas on how things should be in life and business and instead, look at how we can create a new and better life.
Master The Money
This economic change is now influencing how we make money. You’ve heard me talk about multiple streams of income before. There are different options available to all of us, especially for those who choose to rise above the mess and take action.
When I started my home business part time, I had no money to invest, so I took a loan of $10,000 US. I didn’t know if I could make enough money to pay it back. I was super scared, especially since I started a business right after moving to Ottawa, without knowing anyone here, and at a time when the internet was just starting up. (Yep, old school marketing!) But, what I did have, was my ‘why’ that helped me make a decision to invest in a turnkey simplified business model. So, with consistent effort and within a year and a half, I replaced my full time income and paid back my loan. It’s so doable!
I want to encourage you to go for it…do not hold back even during this climate of uncertainty. These unprecedented times are the catalyst for people to make their lives better for the long term. It can be you!!
Master The Mindset
Too often, we overthink what we are doing. We can talk ourselves out of an idea, an opportunity, or a venture just by making it appear more complicated, difficult to do, or riskier than it really is. We let fear run our lives.
Yet, everything in life is simply a matter of knowing what you want, identifying the steps to get there, and then taking action. Simplify and don’t make it any more difficult.
Master The Marketing
This is where the KISS (keep it simple & straightforward) principle applies. Let’s not reinvent the wheel. Follow your success leaders. They will guide you along the way, but it’s still up to you to take action and not get in your own way. Be coachable!
I know you can do it too! I did it even during times of crisis. I just kept my ‘goals’ and my ‘why’ in front of me. There’s a saying, “you didn’t come this far to only come this far.” It applies now to your business and your life, so just keep going!
