Increase Your Income While Working Less

Reading time: minute(s)

One of the biggest success secrets. I’ve learned from first-hand experience is that it’s possible to increase your income while working less. That’s right, you can actually earn more without putting in more hours.

Imagine having more time to spend time with your family, travel and live life on your terms. It sounds too good to be true, but by putting this one thing into action, this could be your life.

Build value

The one thing you need to know is that building value will bring a much higher return on your investment than trading hours for income. As you start getting paid for the value you provide, your income will increase substantially.

Before I started my business, I was tired of the traditional 9-5 life. I was putting time and effort into my job, but I realized that in doing this I was sacrificing time I could be spending with my family.

Then one day I realized that I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life living this way. The solution I found was to build value and make more money for every effort I made.

The problem with giving away hours

We’ve all been there. We work a full-time job and get paid for the number of hours we put into it. We work 40-60 hours a week and take home a regular paycheque. The problem with giving away hours is that it limits your potential.

This model makes it virtually impossible for you to regain control of your time and achieve ultimate financial freedom. Your career and even personal life are in the hands of someone else. Your boss determines how many hours you work, vacation time, etc.

You don’t have complete control over when you get a raise or when you go on vacation. You reap the rewards of your efforts once, when you get a paycheque, and then come back the next day to put in more time.

The value solution

When you focus on creating value for your customers, you can spend less time working and still earn a higher income. Of course, this strategy does take work and dedication, especially as you set things up.  However, in the long run, you will be earning more and working less.

The most common method for doing this, and the one I’ve used with great success, is building streams of residual income. These forms of income continue to provide returns even long after you have done the work.

Residual income you earn continually for a single effort

Real estate investments, creative works, online class production, network marketing and blogging are common examples of this.  I’ve been able to create passive income for myself, which has allowed me to live the lifestyle I want.

That’s why I wrote my book, Creating Freedom, to de-mystify the concept of network marketing and help others understand the value and benefits of this lucrative business model.

The first thing you will need to do is discover your passion and decide what kind of residual income business you want to build. Then, do your due diligence by learning how to be successful in this arena.

The key is to provide value to your customers and build up valuable assets that continually provide income.  This will open up new doors to freedom, making it possible for you to take control of your career and personal life.
