If You Don’t Have These, You Will Struggle

Reading time: minute(s)

On my last blog I talked about how change can be good, and that is exactly what is happening for me as I finish my move to my new home and environment.  I’ve got more clarity on how I plan to go forward living my life and running my business.

Today, it’s all about how we need these 3 things, otherwise, we will struggle in everything we do.

I call them, the three C’s.

And they are not a secret, nor are they something we don’t know but they can be difficult to apply.  They take work on our part.

They are fairly obvious, but ones we tend to forget about as we travel through life and deal with all the non-important noise that distracts us.  So what are they?

The first C is Courage and it is the most important.

Without courage you will not venture into the unknown, try something that you know little about, or even face your fears.  It takes courage to grow, to get out of that rut, to stand out in the crowd, to develop as an individual and so on.  Without courage, you will stay in a comfort zone that is mediocre, lifeless and unfulfilling.

“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” – E.E. Cummings

The second C is Commitment.

Without commitment you will never get to where you want to go.  To be successful, you can not give up.

Being committed means you are focused on the end goal and you will deal with the setbacks.

“If I am committed, there is always a way.” – Tony Robbins

The last C is Consistency.

This means doing the things you need to do every day for your business and life.

Too many of us let things slide because we get lazy and forget about our commitments.

You have to have self-discipline to be committed to anything in life, whether it is business, relationships or personal growth.

“Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently.” – Marie Forleo

As a young girl growing up on a farm, I didn’t realize then that my parents applied the 3 C’s in our daily life.  The result was a thriving and successful family farming business.  They ingrained the three C’s into me and my siblings and I am so appreciative and glad they did.

I also know now as a woman who has owned businesses, real estate and built a strong family unit, that these 3 C’s kept me going.  There were many times I struggled and I realize now, those were the times when I didn’t pay attention to these 3 things.

And it all my wisdom and years of experience, I highly recommend tapping into your potential in these 3 areas so you can live a life with purpose and positively impact and influence others.

So do you have the three C’s?

If not, then now is the time to embrace them, stop the suffering and change your life for the better.

Make sure to book a virtual coffee with me here so we expand your 3 C’s and get you to where you want to go!
