Create value.
After years of business building as an entrepreneur, it’s no surprise, that the most important thing is to create value for your prospective client and find out ‘what’s in it for them’. Too often, we’re more concerned about what we will get out of it, that we don’t provide value for them first.
When you find out what they care about and what their goals and dreams are, it’s the beginning of a healthy relationship that could turn out to be a joint venture, collaboration or someone that joins your team.

Be a giver.
I’ve been told I’m too much of a giver sometimes! I know where it comes from as I was raised this way by my mother, who was one of the most generous people I know. But what it taught me was to be committed to the people I’m connected with, personally and professionally.
One of the influencers I follow is Adam Grant who wrote the book, Give and Take. He says, “givers succeed in a way that creates a ripple effect, enhancing the success of people around them.”
Be grateful.
I’m a big believer that being grateful will bring you incredible abundance. When I first started studying the concept of gratitude, I realized that even as a young adult, I was already doing it. I always started my mornings before hopping out of bed, saying three things I’m grateful for and the same just before I fall asleep.
I didn’t realize at the time, that this was how abundance worked! And I must say, that I’m super grateful to you for being one of my readers over the years:)
