I just got back from 10 amazing days in Mexico!
I loved every moment of sipping morning coffee on my terrace, soaking in the sunshine, palm trees, mountains and my beach walks made life feel like pure paradise. This view brings me back to the core of who I am and how I want to feel.
It’s in these moments that I realize: I actually like being myself.
And I believe we all need to get to that place, where we’re not relying on outside influences, situations, or other people to feel good.
Where we can simply enjoy our own company.
You see, after wrapping up a hectic renovation project, I knew I needed more than just a day off.
My nervous system was fried, my mind was scattered, and I could feel myself running on empty.
I craved space, not just physical space, but mental and emotional space to decompress and realign.
For me, these resets are not a luxury, they’re essential.
They give me a chance to tune in with my emotions, check in on my mental state, and get honest with myself about where I am and where I want to go.
During these ten days, I gave myself plenty of “soft time”.
- meditation
- massages
- slow mornings
- visits with good friends
- client meetings
- pool time
- boating and beach excursions
- and breathing in that ocean air that seems to reset every cell in your body.
I leave this reset not just refreshed, but grounded.
Grateful for all that I have, all that I am, and for the people whose lives I can touch in my own way.
And now, I’m ready to move forward with more clarity, intention, and joy.
p.s. Keep an eye out for my new project… coming soon!
