What Money Can’t Buy

Reading time: minute(s)

This topic is near and dear to my heart… what money can’t buy.

Money does a lot of things, mainly material items such as houses, boats, cars, etc.

And yes it can buy education as in tuition, and in some countries it can buy you a title or a position, or even a presidency.

There are many things it cannot buy and to me the most important one is integrity.

I wanted to highlight this key point because I see such a lack of integrity in people these days.

So let’s be upfront.  You either have integrity or you don’t.  And if you don’t have it, you cannot buy it off the shelf.

I have met many people in my lifetime, many have integrity but many do not.

Why is that?  Is it their upbringing?  Could they be selfish and self-centered which overpowers the goodness of having integrity?  Do they have a lack of morals?

You may feel the same way that I do.

That is, I don’t want to do business with them or have a relationship of any kind with them.  It’s not worth the pain that will come from it, no matter how wealthy or important they are.

It comes down to this, when someone has integrity, they are honest, have strong moral principles, lead by example and take responsibility.

I like to think that I am that type of person as it’s my main core value.

You can believe people with integrity.  You can trust them.

Just like the women in this photo, who have become my dear friends who I can trust with my life.  They do what they say they are going to do, which means they are authentic, not fake.  They are the real deal and I’m blessed to be in their company!

The people with integrity are not out for themselves or out to hurt you.  They are team players, supporters and strong leaders.

And that’s the type of people I want to be associated with in business and in my personal life.

So when I detect that someone has a lack of integrity, I am done with that person.

They will use every excuse in the book to justify their lack of integrity, so don’t be fooled by their manipulative behaviour.  If they don’t have integrity now, they will never have it.

Their lack of integrity will show up again and again, I guarantee it.

And all the money in the world will not buy it for them.

So always remember, money can’t buy integrity.

Do business with those who have it and if  you don’t find it, then walk away.

You will never regret it and your life will be so much better.
