The Power of Your Team

What a super fantastic week!  You know, recently I realized that what I most take for granted is what others may not understand when it comes to working with your team. That is, how much we can all benefit from our team to grow our businesses.

I fell in love with network marketing over 10 years ago, and have become accustomed to working with teams and enjoying all the amazing benefits that go along with it. It struck me earlier this week, when speaking with a prospect, that many people have no idea how advantageous it is to have a team of like minded individuals working together for a common goal!

Here’s a typical example of what I mean. One of my Evolv team members in Montreal is away for a week, but prior to him leaving, he made several new contacts and was not able to followup up.  So, my team leader and I said,” not to worry, we can help!”  What’s cool is that while he is out of town, we have meetings set up this week to speak with several health and fitness business leaders due to his initial contact combined with our followup. This is the power of your team!

So why would we help?  The best part of the network marketing business model is the ‘vested interest’ part. We can all benefit by helping our teams to grow their customer base and their businesses. When they are successful, this means we are too. It’s a simple concept, but easily overlooked.  Trey White, Founder of EvolvHealth is enamored with this way of doing business.  His success has been building billion dollar traditional businesses, and now he is super excited about building Evolvhealth because of the phenomenal power of teams and the mutual benefit for all of the Evolv members.

As you know, team sports works the same way.  My son is on the All Star Football Ottawa Team and I have spent time driving him to practice over the past 2 weeks. They played last night and his team ended up winning the Senior Bowl 2011.  But it’s not just about winning. It is about implementing their game plan and working together for that common goal so that everyone can benefit.
