Are you growing or shrinking?
I have always been into personal growth my whole life. And maybe it is because of my farm background, that I was this way.
I just know that I was always looking at ways to grow, whether it was my business or my personal life. I never sat still!
And I am proud to say that I have passed this message on to all of my clients as well as to my kids.
Too often we get comfortable with where we are in life and what we have. I am not just talking about material things but also about realizing our vision, our purpose, what we want to accomplish in life and so on.
We stagnate. We lose focus. We let day to day routines get in the way.
In fact, we settle with what we are and what we have. When you think about it, we go backwards and actually shrink as a person.
As I look out the window, I am reminded that trees keep growing, they don’t stop. New branches appear, new roots, it is constant growth.
Why should we be different? Sure as a human we reach a certain physical size, but our mind can grow throughout our lifetime as long as we feed it properly.
When we were younger we talked about our dreams, what we wanted to do and be in life.
And often as we get older we forget about those dreams.
That is why I have a dream board on my wall that I look at all the time to remind me that I need to grow if I want to realize those dreams whether they are financial, lifestyle, purpose, etc. I have planted the seeds in my mind.
So are you growing or shrinking?
Is fear holding you back in any way?
Are you feeding your mind daily with empowering information from blogs, podcasts, books, articles, mentors and so on? If not, why not?
I became successful by developing my vision, reading, listening to my mentors, deciding what I needed to do and then taking the necessary action.
Let’s face it, you will not grow without taking action of some kind.
Remember, the crop does not grow without seeding and feeding, and neither does your mind.
So decide today, to seed and feed your mind, to have a growth mindset.
You will never regret it! Let’s meet here for a virtual coffee!
