April - I just got back from vacation, but I wanted to reply to your comments. I am so pleased to see the work you are doing - it's a great concept and a powerful way to postively impact others! Thanks again and happy new year!

Tracey - thank you for your comments - just back from vacation now, but I wanted to reply back to you. I am very imppressed with your video and your great concepts of regifting, recycling and reusing. I am involved in a few green initiatives and you may be interested in some of my 'green' contacts. Let's talk in the new year - would love to share more about Evolv as well! Thanks again and happy new year!

Rosalie - I just got back from vacation and wanted to make sure to reply to your comment. Thank you for telling us about the important work you do with ISF and how 're-gifting' is truly part of your work as a health professional and speaker each and every day. I love the way you look at things and congratulate you on all the great work you are doing to help others improve their health and wellness! Wishing you all the best for 2010!

One of my most poignant 'dreams' come true regarding giving to others is my work as Vice Chair of the International Schizophrenia Foundation (ISF) www.isfmentalhealth.org. We work to promote orthomolecular treatment of mental illness (and other illnesses), so that people can lead healthy, independent lives. Orthomolecular treatment (safe to use with prescription medication) is therapeutic nutrition, to give the body back what it may be missing. ISF has doctor training programs, public seminars, annual conferences and a Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine. We're a federally chartered charitable foundation in Canada and U.S. I carry this passion of well-being into my work through nutritional consulting and speaking on nutrition and stress relief. It's great to see people's health and wellness improve. I guess I'm a 're-gifter' too. I try to take the knowledge and gifts I've been fortunate to receive and pass them along to others. Isn't that what every job is, (paid or unpaid) being in service to others?

http://www.youtube.com/ecotav

And when the blog post goes along with it, I'll be talking about clothing exchanges, spending time and other ways to make all year round giving a win-win for everyone in your life!

Thanks for the great post - must look into Evolv!
